Teaching / Work Experience
Mrs. Sandhya Ganji is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Physics at TKR College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Physics at Chaitanya (Deemed to be University), having registered in 2020. She completed her M.Sc. in Physics from Osmania University in 2007 and her B.Sc. from Kakatiya University in 2003. She has also qualified the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TG-SET).
With over 18 years of teaching experience in higher education, Mrs. Sandhya Ganji has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and academic administration. Her research interests include nanomaterials, semiconductor photocatalysis, environmental remediation, advanced functional materials, and materials characterization.
She has published 5 SCI-indexed research articles in reputed international journals and holds one patent. Her research primarily focuses on the synthesis and characterization of semiconductor nanomaterials for photocatalytic degradation and environmental remediation.
Mrs. Sandhya Ganji has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and seminars, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development. As the Head of the Department, she is committed to promoting quality education, encouraging research and innovation, mentoring students and faculty, and fostering a collaborative academic environment that supports excellence in teaching and learning.
